I’m Sal Scheibe, a freelance illustrator in Toronto, Canada whose work is inspired by community and city life. I’ve worked in marketing and graphic design for 20 years and am now focusing on illustration. I create colourful images depicting life with humour and emotion. My favourite themes to work on are people and human connection, current events and social change topics.

I use Procreate and Adobe products and love to combine digital with traditional textures. I also create stock illustrations and patterns and have licensed over 50,000 of my images and designs.

When I’m not drawing, I love to read, go to music shows, make winter soup and create the occasional zine or comic.

Licensing: Some of the images in my portfolio are currently available for licensing. Please ask me for details.

I am available for freelance work and I’d love to hear from you about your project! To get in touch, please email me at sal@salscheibe.com or you can fill out my contact form

This looks comfy I think. Wish I had one of these old fashioned baths! This is a little art experiment from last night. I wanted to try dappled lighting in a bright room and I think it worked out ok.
